Packed with layers of dark fruit – blackberries, black cherries, plums, blueberries and rich chocolatey licorice notes. Expect depth of fruit backed with hints of smoke and warmth. Velvety smooth on the palate with a rich round body.
2020 proved to be an excellent (possibly legendary) vintage in Saint Emilion. Early spring after a mild winter and an extremely hot summer meant lots of extremely ripe fruit. Merlot proving to be the star offering concentrated rich fruit flavors and balanced vanilla and herb notes. A vintage to enjoy now, or cellar for up to 20 years in the right conditions
